The first 2 essential expansions from the series are included: Inns & Cathedrals and Traders & Builders, which both add new strategic elements to the game’s simple formula. Huge amounts of diversity are added with the other 9 mini expansions: Abbot, River, Flying Machines, Ferries, Messengers, Gold Mines, Mage & Witch, Robbers and Crop Circles. Many of these are incredibly difficult to find otherwise. Each of these expansions injects new components and unique gameplay twists. Some, like River, radically alter Carcassonne’s environment. Others, such as Ferries, take existing concepts in interesting new directions by extending roads across bodies of water. All these mini expansions can be added to the game in varying combinations to give huge new variety to Carcassonne!
